Through Minnesota and onto North Dakota! I planned the trip so that we'd spend about 5 hours in the car each day so on this day we drove along I-94 between Minneapolis MN and Valley City ND. We stopped at Fergus Falls along our route to take a look at the National Wildlife Refuge interpretive center. Unfortunately it was closed but the grounds were open for walkers so we explored the prairie for an hour or so before heading on our way. In Valley City we found a quiet campground at the end of a beautiful winding valley near an Army Corps of Engineers reservoir. The kids settled in, riding bikes and W as you can see put his feet up for awhile.
