the things we do for love

I haven't embroidered for maybe 30 years. Elementary school art class with Ms. Ruys was the last time I did this craft in earnest. Then Geninne, whose art I love, posted this pattern on her website. As always when in love you act. I found my floss, a needle, a hoop and some muslin and embroidered this totally cute little bird. The design deserves a better job than my fumbling-to-remember-stiches-quality work, so a second one will be in the works soon. I am so thankful she was willing to share!
