The house always feels so empty after guests leave. The time spent with those who visit is always full of talking, playing, eating and adventuring. So when its back to the normal routine, it feels a little lonely and a little too quiet around here. A & C's visit this weekend fell during a school Halloween carnival. The evening was full of games, treats, bounce house and a haunted hallway. The next day we visited Twin Falls state park out in North Bend. Another perfect hike for kids. Easy trail, tall trees, river rapids, waterfall and boulders everywhere for climbing. A little chilly but well worth the drive.
