C's class made cards for our family the day that W was born. That afternoon, when E and the kids came to visit and meet W for the first time, C had a handlful of cards for us to look through. It was such a sweet gesture. Beautiful pictures, words of encouragement and congratulations. For a few weeks C pestered me to bring W to school and when I finally showed up to pick him up after school, he was beaming and the kids in his class were thrilled and seeing such a small, sleepy baby.
