fall on two coasts

The only sense of Fall we have had in USVI is an ever so slight changing of the light. The sun rises a little later and sets a little sooner and has a Fall feel to it; longer shadows, a little less intensity. This, however has not changed the day to day temperature much - basically October rolled around and we were still looking for sunscreen and AC. But last week, oh-so-luckily we had a true and beautiful taste of Fall in the Northwest. Fog in the morning, days sunny and crisp, the light low on the horizon. Autumn colors and flowers and even a zucchini in a local pea patch. Blessed we are to have lived in such beautiful places.
