figgy figgy two shoes

A fox named Figgy Figgy Two Shoes lived in these trees. We would visit him quite often when C was three. I don't think Figgy lives there anymore but we still walk by and revel in the hugeness of these trees. They are big leaf maples possibly some of the biggest trees I have seen in the city. Is Figgy Figgy Two Shoes a book character? I had never heard of him before that day two years ago when C introduced me.
