Tree Planting

Our backyard finally has some saplings. An Autum blaze maple, Himalayan white birch and a katsura. This is a far cry from the large trees (4 in. diameter) I thought we were going to transplant from a large tree farm. But there was no way really they could get it up to our lot and they were a little pricey. It makes a huge difference in the look of the yard. I like it. It looks less sterile and less huge. Eventually we'll have some good shade from these little things, which was sorely needed this summer.
