The local dance troupe performed Act 2 of the Nutcracker this weekend in our school theater. The girls and I were wowed by the amazing costumes and great dancing by kids ranging in age from 4 to 22. M loved the peppermint dancers and I think B like the snowflake dancers. I loved the opening number which was a techno pop compilation (All I know is that Shakira was in the mix) and the girls dancing were dressed in head to toe costumes that made them look like seahorses dancing in the sea. So much fun.
