Oh we had a good weekend. The decision to stay on island for this holiday weekend did not come too easy. I know that sounds very strange to say, but living in the tropics, when you are a die-hard temperate climates kind of family does take some adjusting to. Believe me. Especially at this time of year. But we took the leap. Thanksgiving dinner went off with hardly a hitch and despite our small gathering (just us) and the heat it felt like the holidays all the same. Over the course of the weekend we had our own little pool party (with Sprite of course) a night swim, boogie boarding at Magen's Bay, two new movies (at home) and a brunch at Frenchman's Bay. I think we did pretty good and the kids seemed to have enjoyed the change in our weekend routine.
