This market takes place early saturday mornings at the old slave trading station. The station is undergoing a historical restoration so the market has overflowed into the street. This was my first visit - in search of honey. I was a little intimidated, still not completely understanding the accent and also being conspicuously out of place. I am clearly a continental in looks, dress and accent. But, in an attempt to fit in I asked one sunny looking woman about her produce and purchased from her some kale, celery and Virgin Island honey.
