day on the slopes

What a wonderful family vacation. Small resort, easy runs and lessons for the kids. C & C were both lift ready by the end of the second day and zooming down the hills asking "Is this a black diamond? Is this?" The instructor had named their class the Jedi's. So everything that day was Jedi related and the boys loved it. We took them down the slopes that evening and then part of the next day. Every little bump was a jump and speed was the favorite skill they developed. As for the adults, we had plenty of kid-free time and reacquainted ourselves with skiing. We all started out easy, then hit it hard (he he) on the black diamonds. An average round trip in this small midwest resort up the lift and back down: 7 minutes.
