We had heat today. Maybe too much. Near 90 deg. and more of that to come this weekend. The umbrella was out and we are under it, the sprinkler was out and we were in it. It really was a day to spend on or near the water, which we may do tomorrow but today we made do with the backyard and popsicles. It was wonderful. Later we took a picnic dinner to the local wading pool (which finally opened this last monday) and played all evening. Evenings after a hot day like this are what make the Northwest the best place to live on Earth. Warm clear air, no humidity or bugs to speak of. Everyone is out walking, talking, eating, singing, biking, gardening. Its our way of being grateful that we've had some respite from the gray we see so much of the year.
B is in tears from being so tired (and cold)...time for bed I'd say.
