First Day of Fall

First day of fall was yesterday....and this is what we did to celebrate. Take a close look at the weather-caster....in the 80's? OK if it were summer (which it was a day ago) that would mean BBQ or sandwiches and salad for dinner. But because it is now FALL we had -

Stew! Of course. Delicious beef stew cooking at 400 degrees in the oven it a kitchen that was nearing 75 degrees. Not so smart.

So giving up on the inside activity we headed out to plant plants. I arranged all the plants as I thought they should be arranged and then a little elf came by (actually two of them) and rearranged the plants as they saw fit.
